This is a progress report. In my first post I claimed that I would learn how to get my ex back and then I would do exactly that. Sure, most people probably would just forget about that ex boyfriend and move on. Not me! This ex girlfriend is willing to work to make things turn out the way I want them to.
All I can say right now is that I’m still at the learning stage. Hey, it’s a beginning. I don’t know about you, but I’m new at this. Give me a break and a little time to succeed. We have love at stake here.
I have been doing a lot of reading on this topic. You would not believe how much relationship advice and tips I have been getting.
It seems that one of the things I am going to have to do is to figure out what the real cause of our break up was. Now the real cause may be something entirely different than the stated causes. That is going to take some heavy thinking. I hate that.
A lot of the advice says you need to take some fast action. In the break up situation absence is not likely to make the heart grow fonder. I am going to have to do some fast learning and fast acting if I am going to get us back together again.
However, I also am supposed to allow some space between us and accept the fact that our relationship is temporarily over. I should not call, send text messages or send emails. This is very difficult because I want to do all three.
I am working on figuring out how to get him to contact me. This is not going to be easy. I can’t get mutual friends to talk to him. He would be annoyed by that and consider it a breach of our privacy.
I know I will learn how to get my ex back.
